This project will consist of grading, drainage, and asphalt surfacing on 6.600 kilometers (largest schedule) of roadway for Idaho PFH 76-1(1) & 2(1), Grand Targhee Road, in Targhee National Forest, Teton County, State of Idaho. Estimated price range is between $3,000,000 and $8,000,000. Principal work items: Slope, reference, and clearing and grubbing stakes, 7.375 km; grade finishing stakes, 14.750 km; contractor testing, lump sum; silt fence, 5,990 m; watering for dust control, 8,000 m3; clearing and grubbing, 19.0 ha; roadway excavation, 19,415 m3; removal of Portland cement concrete sidewalk, 1,540 m2; unclassified borrow, 27,750 m3; aggregate base, 49,200 metric tons; asphalt cement grade PG 52-40, 1,415 metric tons; antistrip additive type 3, 245 metric tons; superpave asphalt concrete pavement, 23,450 metric tons; fog seal grade CSS-1 or CSS-1h, 92 metric tons; prime coast grade MC-250, 138 metric tons; box culvert design and construction, lump sum; pipe culvert, various size, 895 m; concrete swale gutter, 650 m2; Portland cement concrete curb and gutter, various depth, 2,330 m; Portland cement concrete sidewalk, 2,685 m2; fence-temporary construction, 3,800 m; traffic control, 8,780 hours along with associated surveying, guardrail, temporary barriers and pavement marking.
