JUNIPER NETWORKS SOFTWARE LICENSES

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) DTOS59-11-Q-00087 constitutes the only solicitation being issued; the solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-25 dated July 5, 2011. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this RFQ is 511210 and applicable size standard for this procurement is $23.0 Million. This is an RFQ for the procurement of Juniper Networks, Inc. Brand Name items. Quotes are being solicited and a written RFQ is attached to this synopsis. The following provisions and clauses shall apply: (1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items) (2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items) with the following insertion in paragraph (a) lowest priced technically acceptable� (3) FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) (4) FAR 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions -Commercial Items) (5) FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders- Commercial Items). All offerors quotations shall be submitted on the RFQ form (SF-18) attached to this synopsis. Vendor's quotations for this requirement are due no later than 11:00 a.m. EDT September 9, 2011. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the Government Point of Entry (GPE), which is www.fbo.gov for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOT must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations is also required http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may deem offeror ineligible for award.
