NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: VRC Cold Spray System – MDMC PPA, Albany, GA General Services Administration hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm-fixed price award for a VRC Cold Spray System to Phillips Corporation, 7390 Coca Cola Dr. Suite 200, Hanover, MD 21076, DUNS 003258043 on behalf of the U.S. Marine Corps, Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC), Production Plant Albany (PPA). The total estimated value is less than $880,000.00. The proposed procurement is for a product for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 and In accordance with FAR 13.501(a) as only one source will reasonably satisfy agency requirements and delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
