70 -- Source(s) Sought for Small Business Web Proxy Appliance Security System Manufacturers

This notification is provided to survey the small business manufacturing industry to identify available source(s)that have the capabilities and qualifications to manufacture products, e.g., firewall/VPN Appliances, that can provide network security that will secure network based intrusion prevention, protect against risks from spyware, Web viruses, inappropriate Web surfing, instant messaging (IM), video streaming and peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing, while still maintaining optimum performance of the network platform and is able to support multiple infrastructure. Equivalent products available in the marketplace include but are limited to are: CyberGuard, NetPilot, Bluecoat, F-Secure, TippingPoint, Barracuda, FirePass, Array Networks, Websense, etc. Those entities that reply to this survey must produce and identify end products that are already available in the commercial marketplace and considered to be COTS. This survey is performed for the sole purpose to collect data of the small business industry and does not constitute the obligation of the Government to make an award.
