The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service intends to issue a contract to the Architectural Computer Services, Inc. a small business enterprise under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to obtain the following MasterSpec guide specification systems on CD-ROM (hard copy): (1) A/S/C Basic, Supplemental and Short Form and (2) M/E Basic, Supplemental and Short Form, with site licenses for 16 users. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all responses received by close of business 4:00 p.m. est. Thursday, August 30, 2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
