This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is K04KE175H00 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 01-27. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334119 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is unrestricted and only interested offerors may submit a quote. FOB Destination shall be Rockville , MD 20852 The GSA FTS Region 6 requires the following items, MEET OR EXCEED, to the following: LI 001, Vital Security for Web Software by Finjan or Equal Part #VSWGM3 Salient Characteristics: - Proactively block new and as yet unidentified Viruses, Trojan Horses, Spyware and worms at the web gateway. - Provides, at the enterprise level, the ability to test new policies and rules in an off-line mode, on live traffic, before actually applying the new rule. - Provide the capability to understand content types and their associated behavior as they enter the customer network, to allow for a better understanding the actions of the web traffic to allow for policy adjustments. - Provides for application layer behavioral blocking to proactively prevent new targeted and blended attachs from entering an enterprise network. - Provides for proactive vulnerability exploit protection for newly discovered vulnerabilities. - Backed by a research development program to research and monitor new vulnerabilities allowing for the development of new proactive tools - not definitions - Does not rely upon signature based solutions for the identification of viruses, worms, malicious code, etc., 3500, EA; LI 002, Finjan Gold Maintenance for 3 Years (65% GSA Disc) or Equal, 3500, EA; For this solicitation, GSA FTS Region 6 intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing quotes, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. GSA FTS Region 6 is taking this action in a an effort to improve vendor access and awareness of requests while expediting its ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time offers. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their offer using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
