Y -- Round Meadows Cross-Country Ski and Mountain Bike Trails on the Flathead National Forest

The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations for the construction/reconstruction of the Round Meadows Cross-Country Ski and Mountain Bike Trail on the Tally Lake Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. Project consists of 5.3 miles of cross-country ski and mountain bike trail construction/reconstruction including clearing and grubbing, excavation, trailbed grading, drain dips, culvert, gravel fill, ditches, turnpikes, and a switchback. Some rock blasting may be necessary. Issue date, approximately April 23, 2003. Completion date, June 30, 2004, with an estimated Notice to Proceed date of June 10, 2003. The Government price estimate range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
