The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Olympic National Forest, is issuing a Request for Quotations for the demolition of eight wells and the capping of one well throughout various locations of the Olympic National Forest. This acquisition will be advertised as a full and open competition Commercial Items Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Part 12. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110 with a size standard of $28.5 M. The awardee will be required to submit payment protection, such as a payment bond. Davis-Bacon Wage Determination Rates apply to this acquisition. Solicitation R6-OLY-3-34-O will be available for downloading on or about August 28, 2003, with quotes due on or about September 15, 2003. Estimated contract time is 45 days.
