The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest has a requirement for a Open Bottom Aluminum Box Culvert The culvert is to be delivered to to Peeples Lake Road, Forest System Road 3, milepost 5.32 on theArmuchee/Cohutta Ranger District located in northwest Georgia. The solicitation identified as AG-435H-S-05-0012 is issued as a Request for Quotations. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: (1) Aluminum Box Culvert 23ft-10in. span 10ft -1in rise to fit a 14 ft travel way. HS20 loading minimum cover of 2 ft, maximum cover of 4 ft. Including foot-pads, nuts, bolts, deadmen, instructions and all other appurtenances required to assemble the culvert (2) Aluminum Headwall and wingwall package appropriate for the above culvert. Wingwall set at 45 0 to the headwall and extend for one typical panel. Including nuts, bolts, deadmen, instructions, and all other appurtenances required to assemble the head and wing walls. DELIVERY: Delivery is to be made to the job site approximately September 30, 2005. Exact directions to the project location to be given after award. Quotes may be FAXed to 770-297-3031. Quotes must include a completed copy of clause 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications. Quotes will be evaluated on price and capability of the vendor to meet the agency need. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded from this solicitation.
