NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract using FAR 13.501(a) – Sole Source Acquisition. This is not a request for competitive quotes. The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to contract with O2X Human Performance on a sole source basis for a physical readiness & wellness program manager and injury risk reduction & recovery specialist services. These services are an ongoing requirement for the USMS and are crucial for maintaining a safe training environment. O2X Human Performance is the incumbent contractor currently providing these services. Currently, it is not in the best interest of USMS to compete the continuation of these services. Opening this contract action to additional competition at this time could cause a disruption of services. Given the short period of performance of this requirement while a new requirement is being generated, the risk of such a disruption is unacceptable. The total estimated value of this contact is $472,812.00. The estimated award date is 26 January 2024 with an estimated Period of Performance (PoP) of 01 February 2024 – 30 November 2024. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611699 with a size standard of $16.5 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is U099 – Education/Training – Other. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information will not be considered a response to this Special Notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
