Q -- Dental Hygienist Non-Personal Services

The Contractor shall provide non-personal Dental Hygienist services. Contractor shall plan and conduct oral health educational programs and provide prophylactic and preventive oral hygine procedures for inmate patients. The Contractor shall coordinate activities and work closely with the Chief Dental Officer of the institution in the treatment of inmate patients. The Contractor performs screening exams and charts existing conditions and places transitional restorations in emergency situations. The Contractor shall operate radiographic equipment, process film and make preliminary interpretation to identify gross oral pathology. The Contractor shall document and maintain records regarding all treatment for inmate patiients using standard dental forms provided. The Contarctyor will require frequent and unsupervised contact with inamtes. All duteies outlined in this Statementy of Work shall be performed in the accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the Contractor's own field of expertise. Contractor must have state license in the field of dental/oral hyginiest and required to have professional liability insurance not less than $1,000,000.00 per medical incident.
