Commercial Item, Fabric, Nylon w. digitized reflective material for Army IPFU Jackets

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation number is CT2034-10. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45. The North American Industry Classification System (NAIC) code is 313311 (broadwoven fabric finishing mills) and small business size standard is 1,000. This acquisition is unrestricted. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. intends to enter into a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for delivery to the UNICOR facilities located at USP Lee County, VA and FCI Miami, FL. The period of performance shall be two (2) years with two (2) one-year options, if exercised, from date of award. The product is a commercial item, fabric, plain weave 70 denier nylon 6.6 (or equal), gray, treated with a Schoeller Nanosphere technology (or equal). The finished goods are for sale to the DLA Troop Support Center Philadelphia. A complete description of the items is in Section B Supplies or Services and Prices/Costs. The estimated quantities for the line items are also shown in Section B.
