This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. INMATE CLOTHING General Information - The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup, Georgia, intends to award a firm-fixed price, definite quantity type contract to a responsible small business entity for the provision of inmate's t-shirts, boxers, socks, & rain ponchos. It is anticipated award from this solicitation will be made by March 20, 2008. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. Quoters are advised that the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (orca.bpn.gov) prior to award of any contract, by entering the potential awardee DUNS number into the database. Failure to complete the registration may result in elimination from consideration for award. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Prices shall be FOB Destination pricing. (4) A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (MAR 2005) if different from entry made to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) site located at orca.bpn.gov. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The proposed price must include all associated charges, fees and delivery cost (FOB Destination) to Jesup, Georgia, 2600 Highway 301 SOuth. Contractor must deliver the items within (30) days from date of award. Quotes must be received at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, 2600 Highway 301 South, Jesup, Georgia 31599 no later than 2:00 p.m. eastern standard time on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Quotes may also be faxed to (912)427-1126. All reasonable offers from responsible offerors will be considered.
