The Security Guard Services contract R13PC40006 was procured as a sole source under the authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). 2. The contract was a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a Base Year and Four One-Year Options and included FAR Clauses 52.217-08 "Option to extend Services" and 52.217-9. "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract." 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAISC) Code is 561612. The SBA size standard is 18.5 million. The Government anticipates exercising the first Option Year for the period of performance of 1 October 2013 through 1 October 2014. The Government has the option to exercise the remaining three with an additional Option period of six months for a total contract period of up to five years and six months.
