Notice of Intent to Sole Source Solicitation Number: R13PS302228 THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS ADVERTISED AS INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. As provided under FAR 6.302-1, this Project will be solicited on a noncompetitive basis as "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Project Description: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has a requirement for the diagnosis and repair of PX series security X-ray screening systems on an as-needed basis designed and manufactured by L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems. It is anticipated that a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be awarded on April 25, 2013 with an anticipated completion date of April 24, 2018. The resulting award will be a firm fixed price type. All responsible sources are welcome to submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation by April 24, 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Said submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation when planning solicitations for future requirements The contract award information will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FBO) at (www.fbo.gov).
