Surveying Equipment Upgrades, software maintenance, and support, Leica Geosystems Inc

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Delivery Order to Leica Geosystems Inc., Norcross, GA. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for ongoing surveying work throughout the Lower Colorado Region. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region has Leica surveying equipment and software, therefore, the equipment upgrades and its associated laser-based surveying system and software are able to conduct full-dome scans and be operated by laptop. This procurement is also for the service maintenance agreement available only from Leica. It includes the extended warranty, technical support hotline access, firmware updates,calibration services, preventive maintenance services, other technical support, and software updates for Leica brand surveying equipment and associated software. Leica Geosystems, Inc., is the only company which provides a service maintenance agreement for this equipment. A justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
