Modification of Synopsis to exercise Options on Glen Canyon Tour Guides Contract.

The purpose of this announcement is to modify a synopsis that was previously submitted to FedBizOpps on 20 April 2009. The changes are as follows: 1. The Glen Canyon Tour Guide contract was procured in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation with full and open competition. 2. The contract was a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a Base Year and Four One-Year Options and included FAR Clauses 52.217-8, "Option to Extend Services" and 52.217-9, "Option to Extend the Term of the Contract." 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 712190. The SBA size standard is $7.0 million. The Government anticipates exercising Option Year Three for the period of performance of 1 September 2012 through 31 August 2013 and has the option to exercise Option Year Four for an additional 12 months and an option to extend the Contract up to six (6) additional months, not to exceed five (5) years and six (6) months.
