NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE.This is a notification of intent for the National Park Service to issue a sole source award to Neopost USA. The National Park Service (NPS) Office of Property and Space Management (OPSM) has an acquisition for the ongoing support of brand new postage mailing machines, scales, related postage meters, supplies, and support services. The contractor shall provide continuing support for postage machines, scales and postage meters. The contractor shall be capable providing for the installation of the new postage meters, maintenance, supplies, and all software upgrades as necessary for the offered postage machines, scales and postage meters. Installation and maintenance of replacement mailing machines and scales and postage meters throughout the United States and its territories. The period of performance for said contract shall be March 30, 2012 through June 30, 2012, this performance period shal allow for contuning services while NPS formally competes a multi year contract for same services.. This notice of intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This service will be procured under Firm Fixed-Price Service in accordance with FAR12 procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR6.302-01.
