Request for Information (RFI) for a Strategic Services program on behalf of the U.S. Forest Service. Please see the Description for additional information.

The Department of Interior, National Business Center (NBC), on behalf of the United States Forest Service, Chief Information Officer (CIO) is requesting information from interested offerors to support a comprehensive IT strategic service program to enhance the existing Forest Service Information Resources Management (IRM) Program. The intent is to provide a range of contract personnel who have skills and management structure necessary to assist the CIO deliver a coherent collection of services to Forest Service and USDA users nationwide. The NBC is conducting market research to gain an understanding of the capabilities and qualifications that exist in the marketplace as well as finalize a performance-based acquisition strategy. Please refer to the draft "Statement of Objectives" (SOO) which can be obtained as outlined below. In an effort to determine small business opportunities, this RFI is seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses having the ability to provide the services outlined in the SOO. Should insufficient potential bidders be identified in that business category, the potential competition may be changed to include other small disadvantaged business categories.
