Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Architectural and Engineering Services Contract, Region 7, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska, NAICS 541310,The USFWS, Region 7, intends to extend the period of performance under Contract Number 701816D042, HDR Engineering, 2525 C Street, Suite 305, Anchorage, AK 99503-2632 and Contract 701816D041,PDC, Inc,, 1231 Gambell Street, Anchorage, AK 99501-4627 for an additional six (6) months via an non-competitive modification. Contracts are Firm Fixed Price Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts for architect-engineering (AE) services for planning, studies, plans and specifications, cost estimates, surveying, soil investigations, contamination surveys, interpretive design, construction management services, field inspections and reports, and interior design services. This contract shall provide the continuing requirement for AE services while Region 7 procures new 5-yr IDIQ contracts. The period is extended from February 28, 2011, the current contract expiration date, to August 30, 2011. The extended period is in part due to USFW conversion from its current financial and contracting systems to its new Financial Business Management System. The conversion of the system imposes constraints on the agency which precludes award of new multiple year contracts prior to conversion to the new system in Fall of 2011. Extension shall be made under the authority for other than full and open competition FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) due to unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
