MICHELE WATERSPHONE/FAX: 907-271-5021/907-271-6446EMAIL: [email protected] DESCRIPTION OF TASK UNDER ORDER: US Bureau of Land Management has a requirement for helicopter support to perform construction of approximately 2 miles of wood planking trail structures located 14 miles from the trailhead locations of Pinnell Mountain National Recreation Trail. This work is to be performed by BLM staff. The helicopter charter period is firm and extends from 11 August 2010 through 14 August 2010 (4 days). Equipment and crew will need to be transported between construction and supply locations daily. Particular schedules will be worked out between BLM and the vendor. A single pilot helicopter will be needed to transport personnel and materials from the supply delivery site to the construction sites. A helicopter mechanic is also required on site for the project. Sling board work is required to transport paracargo equipment and supplies, and deliver and remove construction supplies. Particular schedules will be worked out between BLM and the vendor.
