Opportunity to Apply for Commercial Use Permit to Operate Bicycle Rental Operations at Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Notice of Availability of Commercial Use Authorization within Grand Canyon National ParkUnder the authority of Public Law 105-391 (Section 418) the National Park Service announces the limited availability of a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) within Grand Canyon National Park for the following service: Bicycle Rental Operations. The National Park Service will issue one CUA authorizing a bicycle rental operation located at Canyon View Information Plaza near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center within Grand Canyon National Park. Under the CUA, the permit holder will be authorized to rent bicycles to park visitors for use on approved paved roadways and greenway trails on Grand Canyon National Park's South Rim. The permit holder will be responsible for providing all rental equipment necessary for the operation as well as a temporary sales and storage facilities. The National Park Service will issue the CUA for an initial term of twelve months.
