In accordance with FAR Parts 5.2 and 6.302-1 this notice advertises the government's intent to negotiate and award a sole source contract for the rehabilitation of a non-compliant water system that services the historic Wikins Ranch Complex, Point Reyes National Seashore, located in West Marin County, California. The work of this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials required to construct and install a residential water storage and supply system, including drilling 1-2 shallow wells within the Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California. American Wells Technologies (AWT) is familiar with the site and with the challenges of trying to develop shallow wells, and uses state of the art scientific techniques which are not used by any other known well driller within California. The full Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition will be posted electronically when the contract is awarded. The Government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract.
