The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Howard Industries, Inc., 36 Howard Dr., Ellisville, MS 39437-0000, for transformers for power distribution to the Drop 2 Reservoir site. This requirement is an integral part of the Drop 2 Reservoir construction. The transformers must be installed by the Imperial Irrigation District, the local power company. The transformers must also meet their standardized equipment requirements for power distribution which must adhere to specific codes and specifications and Howard Industries is the only known authorized manufacturer.
