R--Hotel Resort, Conference Room, and Services for 2009 Biology Conference for 325 people

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Callaway Gardens Inc. The purpose of this procurement is to hold the 2009 SE Regional Biology Conference at a hotel/resort that can accommodate 325 guests. The hotel/resort must be centrally located with in FWS Region Four, have adequate transportation between a major international airport, be located in a rural area to limit city distractions, accommodate guests with adequate guest rooms, have restaurant capacity for 325 guests, have multiple size conference room facilities ranging between board rooms and large ballrooms, and be an environmentally friendly facility This proposed non competitive contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1, this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 2:30 p.m. local time on 10/06/2008.
