Notice of Intent to Issue a Single Source Award to Harrington Industrial Plastic. There is no solicitation. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR has a requirement for the procurement of high density polyethylene batch tanks, peristaltic pumps, and other specialized equipment made of non-chemical leaching materials to be used in the building of a fish exposure laboratory by the Nevada Fish and Wildlife Office. Harrington Industrial Plastic is the only known source that can provide all of the supplies that meet Agency requirements, provide local technical support from one office, and have intimate and current knowledge of the project area, equipment needs, and laboratory design. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Harrington Industrial Plastic. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1.
