The work required is to conduct Marbeled Murrelet population surveys during the 2008 survey season(15 May 08' - 31 Jul 08') using the population survey protocol under the Marbeled Murrelet Effectiveness Monitoring Program of the NW Forest Plan. The survey protocol is specialized, requiring specific knowledge and skills in the survey technique, seabird identification, equipment requirements, and data management. Due to time constraints and specialized knowledge required; the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award sole source contract to Crescent Coastal Research. No solicitation is available for this procurement. Any firm that is capable of meeting the USFWS requirements described herein may submit a response no later than close of business on 05/21/2008.
