This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Department of the Interior National Business Center site located at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The US Fish and Wildlife Service(US FWS) has an existing contract 101817M619 with Honolulu Marine, LLC of Honolulu, HI. The contract is to transport personnel and cargo from Honolulu to Tern Island. US FWS has a new requirement for personnel and cargo to be transported to and from Midway Atoll, Nihoa Island, and other islands located between Midway and Oahu. The Government plans to meet this new requirement by modifying existing contract 101817M619 to add this to the scope of the contract to allow Honolulu Marine LLC to perform the work. Other than full and open competition procedures will be utilized with Honolulu Marine LLC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source for these services because the requirement is a follow-on effort to work being performed by Honolulu Marine, LLC under the existing contract. Interested parties may respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
