R--Intent to Sole Source Short Term, Technical, Analytical and Administrative Support to the Decision Support Center and the Space Directorate Limited Performane

The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Network and Information Integration (OASD (NII)); Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control and Communications Policies, Programs and Space Programs (DASD (C3P&P&SP)) has a short term, 4 month requirement for administrative and unique, specialized engineering expertise in support of the current and future ISR and Space Control systems and C3 Policies, Programs and Space Programs Program Management for the Director, Space Programs. This requirement will also provide administrative, analytical and technical support to the NII program in support of the overall mission and NII acquisition responsibilities. This requirement is being issued by the National Business Center, Acquisitions Services Directorate under the Department of the Interior on behalf of DASD (C3P&P&SP) in accordance with FAR 12.0, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The period of performance is short term, from Jan 01, 2008 through April 30, 2008. The Government intends to negotiate on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) short term, four months sole source basis with Scitor Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Offerors able to provide the required service are invited to identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements by submitting their qualifications/capabilities and any other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement by Friday December 14, 2007 at 4 P.M. EST. If no affirmative responses are received to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, a purchase order will be awarded to the above named source.
