99--Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office has a requirement to purchase specialized Satelite Imagery.

The Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office plans to award a Sole Source contract for Satellite Imagery of 2557 km2 of existing archive imagery at .5 meter resolution. Award will be made to Digital Globe Inc. 1601 Dry Creek Drive, Suite 260, Longmont, CO.80503-6493. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by September 18, 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
