The flotation system is comprised of a water pump, water tank, air compressor, fine-mesh screens, and silt trap, used to process soil samples for archeological remains. It is the government's best interest to purchase a specialized unit needed specifically to process archeological samples during fieldwork projects more economically in terms of time, labor, transport, and storage. No other vendors have been found to offer this specialized equipment. This notice is NOT a Request for Proposal or Request for Quote, therefore NO solicitation documents will be issued. An award is anticipated on or about May 12, 2006.
