D--MAPTEK Vulcan Software Annual Maintenance, Enhancements, and Support Services

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, Carlsbad Field Office (CFO) and Farmington Field Office (FFO) in New Mexico intend to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract with one base year and four one year options to KRJA Systems, Doing Business As MAPTEK, 165 Union Blvd Ste 888, Lakewood, Colorado 80228-2213 for MAPTEK's Vulcan software annual maintenance, enhancements, and support services for previously purchased Vulcan licenses and software (follow-on to POL11PX01385). In addition, the BLM will send two employees a year (if needed) for five days of educational training conducted by MAPTEK. This action is authorized by and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued by the BLM and no response will be made to letters or telephone requests for a copy of the solicitation as one will not be produced. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101 and 5.203. This requirement shall not exceed $114,355 (including option years), is unrestricted, and NAICS Code 511210 shall apply. Respondents, other than the above, should submit, at a minimum, their qualifications and any other information considered pertinent to the requirement to the Contracting Officer no later than 3 April 2014 by 5PM MST. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship to the BLM. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is estimated to be around mid-April 2014. Respond to John P.
