The Bureau of Land Management, Campbell Tract Facility, Anchorage, Alaska has a requirement for 5 ea fire egress stairways. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation not Request for Quote will be issued. This work will consist of supplying five (5) sets of metal stairs with landings. These stairs are located at 6881 Abbott Loop Road, Anchorage, Alaska 99507. These stairs are located on the main office. ON units #1, #2, #5 will BLM will be constructing concrete base for the stairs and landings. The top elevation of the new concrete base will match the existing concrete sidewalk elevation. All measurements shall be verified by bidder. All of the stairs and landing shall have a width no less that 48 inches clear walking surface. The length of the landings will vary by location to insure that a rise on the steps is not less than four inches or greater than seven inches. The treads shall be 12 inches in depth. Stair treads will be Gripstrut. Planking for landing will be Gripstrut planking. Stairs and landings will have hand and guard rails with balusters. All portions of stairs, landings and railings shall comply with [IBC Section 1009, OSHA 1910.24(f), and NFPA 101, Section 5-2.2.2.3.4]. When conflicts between regulations arise safety shall take precedent. Completed stair units shall be primed and powder coated. The color of the powder coat shall be Hunter Green.
