Z--Renovation of the existing HVAC system in the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters Building located near Mayville, WI.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Fort Snelling, Minnesota is issueing an Invitation for Bids for the following acquisition. Project consists of: The renovation of the original HVAC system in an approximately 5,000 square feet, single story, wood frame, reinforced concrete walkout basement, office building, which was built in 1988. The original system includes a Carrier furnace and a lennox air cooled condensing unit. It is to be replaced with a geothermal pond loop source heat pump system. The project shall include: (1) demolition work; (2) all necessary electrical wiring; and (3) installation of heat pumps, circulating pumps, temperature controls, pond loop and underground piping to the building, ducting, interior building piping, and a energy recovery ventilating unit. (4) Removal and reinstallation of a suspended ceiling in a portion of the basement ceiling. (5) Sheet rock modifications, patching, and painting as necessary. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 to $250,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 238220, Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $12.0 million.
