D--Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: Anadromous Fish Restoration Database.

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 1, Contracting & General Services, intends to award a contract to TEG Technologies, Fremont, California, for design and programming of a database management system utilizing relational database and web technologies, as part of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act. This contract requires specialized knowledge of the Anadromous Fish Restoration Program (AFRP) and integration between database management design and the biological needs of the AFRP. It will be expandable and upgradeable to add new variables, provide a data-updating interface, and provide online access. A non-web version for internal use will also be developed. This proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabililty to respond to the requirement, in writing, or submit proposals, in writing; however, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any proposals received within 30 calendar days after publication of this commercial item synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. **PLEASE NOTE** All proposals and related information must be submitted in writing.
