Y--Removal and replacement of Arch Culvert

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts, and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations(RFQ) for removing and replacing approximately 256 of corrugated metal arch culvert at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery, Erwin, Tennessee. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all required labor, equipment, materials and expertise for the job. Construction will require removal and replacement of a portion of existing fencing and relocating and resetting a wooden storage building. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the lastest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 234990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tenative issuance date is 4/2/03 with a 20 day closing date.
