This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as RFQ #Q5100100009. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Andersonville National Historic Site, located in Andersonville, Georgia, has a requirement to rent tent, stage, lighting, table, chair, fire extinguisher, air conditioner, and other materials necessary for a special POW/MIA event at the park. The items will be delivered, set-up, taken down, and removed from September 13 - 20, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532299 and the size standard is $7 million. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 37, Services Contracting. STATEMENT OF WORK Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, supplies, services, transportation, and incidentals required to provide for, set-up, take down, and remove the following rental equipment: 1. 82' x 230' Clearspan Tent - 15,180 square feet with sides staked in asphalt. 2. 6 Doors - double, full glass and metal. 3. Lighting Package - suitable for size of rental tent. 4. 16' x 32' x 30" Stage - black carpet on floor, black skirting around entire stage, guard rails and steps with hand rails. 5. 3000 Folding Chairs - aluminum and black. 6. 12 Banquet Tables - 8' x 30". 7. 120 Tables - 60" round. 8. 12 Linens - White, covers 8' banquet tables to the floor. 9. 120 Linens - White, covers 60" round tables to lap length. 10. 8 Fire Extinguishers. 11. Equipment - Forklift, etc., for Clearspan set-up. 12. Air Conditioning Unit - with power. 13. Associated Fees. Interested contractors must quote on all items listed above.
