This is Amendment #0001 to Combined Synopisis/Solicitation Number Q4130080603. The purpose of the amendement is to share answers to questions asked by vendors regarding this requirement and to remind intersted vendors to submit all requested information with their offers. Solicitation closing date remains the same - on or before Monday, June 9, 2008 by 3:00pm. The following information is being provided in response to interested vendor's questions.1) Q. Can you tell me if the "live load" of the composite lumber is 100 lbs or is it 200lbs?A.The 24" span on center should not be less than 100 lbs per square foot.2) Q. Brand of current product in use now? Trex? Timbertec? MoistureShield? Other?A. The current brand of decking is not applicable; current decking is wood.3) Q. Is product flat on top and bottom? Or does bottom have "grooves"?A. The bottom of the board design is unimportant and was not specified for this requirement, however a solid board is specified.4) Q. What is requirement of content composition/makeup percentages?A. There was no percentage specified, but we are requiring recycled content material.5) Q. Is the current product in contact with ground?A. No.6) Q. Will end-user provide equipment to unload at delivery?A. Yes.7) Q. How long has current product been down?A. It is our understanding that the wood decking has been in place approximately 20 years.8) Q. Is the total linear feet requested 42,916 or 12,916?A. The total linear feet required is 12,916. At fbo.gov when looking at Q4130080603 the Contract Line Item Number(s)(CLIN) are running together with linear feet required (ex. CLIN#00013,700 linear feet instead of CLIN#0001 3,700 linear feet).
