AMENDMENT TO COMBINED SYNOPIS/SOLICITATION AS FOLLOWS: Solicitation pricing shall be based on the prevailing fuel index of November 30, 2007 by OPIS (Oil Price Information Service) out of Bozeman, Montana. This clarification is needed for potential vendors to understand the calculation the government will be using as issued under "NOTE*. It further clarified a base for calculation of fuel solicitation pricing: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT STATED: "*NOTE*: Contractor shall price per gallon based on the prevailing fuel index on the date of award shall be the initial index. EPAs will be calculated and processed quarterly, with the prevailing fuel index at the end of the quarter being used to calculate the index at the beginning of the subject quarter." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS AMENDMENT ALSO EXTENDS THE CLOSING DATE TO 21 DECEMBER 2007 AT 2:00 P.
