56--Fabrication of steel members for 3 foot bridges. Contractor to fabricate steel per drawings and deliver according to description

Fabrication of steel bridge members including I-beams, diaphragms, bearing plates, spacer plates, retainer plates, punching of holes as required and welding as required. (see attached drawings) I-beams and diaphragms to be painted with epoxy primer applied in two coats of 6 - 8 mills each for a total of 12 to 18 mills. Primer on near white metal finish per SSPC-SP10. Steel beams and diaphragms must be ASTM-A36 Grade structural steel. Bearing plates, retainer plates and spacer plates are weathering steel ASTM-A588. North Puyallup steel will be delivered to Kautz Creek Storage area 3 miles inside Nisqually Entrance at the end of hwy 706 the West side of Mount Rainier National Park. Both Stevens Creek and Martha Creek steel will be delivered to Backbone Ridge area on the Stevens Canyon Road off of hwy 123 the southeast side of Mount Rainier National Park. 48 hour notice is required prior to delivery.
