The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, is soliciting and intends to award a Contract in support of the Center for National Patient Safety, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, located at 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Dr, Suite M2200 in Ann Arbor, MI 48105. NAICS Code 519130. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with ECRI Institute for this service to provide a subscription to ECRI Health Devices Gold for 10 employees. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 12:00pm EST, 10/10/2019. No telephonic inquiries shall be accepted. All responses must be e-mailed to the contracting officer. STATEMENT OF WORK The National Center for Patient Safety, Product Recall Office requires online access (license) to ECRI s Health Devices Gold Alerts and Advisories system. The license shall be for ten named persons on staff for the duration period of November 1, 2019- October 31, 2020. Health Devices Gold is a comprehensive Alerts and Advisory service which shall be used for evaluation of medical equipment, devices, implantable devices and products. The HD Gold shall be made available for extensive use by our pre-selected Product Recall Office and assigned Biomedical Engineers staff. ECRI Exclusive Alerts shall allow readily available access through their online Web Portal access to our 10-selected staff daily for their use in identifying problems with the above-mentioned item. This allows the team to provide for a more enhanced expert technical analysis. Their online access privileges shall also include access to FDA Class I, II, and III alerts.
