In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Wolters Kluwer Clinical Drug Information, Inc., located at 1100 Terex Rd., Hudson, OH 44236: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 0001 Lexi-Comp Knowledge Solution 1 EA Wolters Kluwer Clinical Drug Information, Inc, (WKCDI), is the developer of the Lexicomp clinical drug information database. Although WKCDI has additional clinical drug information databases such as UptoDate and Facts and Comparisons eAnswers, Lexicomp is the only database solution for hospital systems for pharmacists and nurses within the acute care hospital pharmacy. Additionally, Lexicomp provides pharmacists access to two drug information resources within a single interface. This data was developed by, is proprietary to, and available only under license from WKCDI. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511120 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00 Mountain Standard Time, Thursday, March 5th, 2020.
