J--Medtronic Equip Service/Maint POP: Date of Award - 30 September 2015 plus four (4) one-year option periods

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 20, VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (single source), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Medtronic Inc for the following services: preventive maintenance/repair services of Medtronic Heart Support Devices which are located in Seattle, WA. NAICS 811219 applies to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide preventive maintenance/repair services of all the Medtronic Heart Support Devices.
