J--NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE VAMC Lexington - Lumenis Laser Full Service Maintenance

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) intends to award a sole source contract award to Lumenis, Inc. 2033 Gateway Pl, STE 200, San Jose, CA 95110. This requirement is for Full Service Maintenance on Selecta Trio Laser (ID#71530, S/N 10235). Coverage shall include all parts and labor, plus two PM's per year. Coverage will be Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Semi-annual PM's will be scheduled with the COR. Device located at VA Medical Center, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, Ky. Lumenis, Inc. is the only authorized vendor capable of providing the requested service. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 22nd, 2014, 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to [email protected].
