D--Police Two-Way Radio Communication System VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award to Washoe, County of, 911 E, Parr Blvd, Reno, NV 89502, for the Washoe County Regional Communication System (WCRCS) two-way radio transmission services for the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno NV 89502. This procurement is a sole source award under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source. The contract will consist of a Base Year and four option years. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide these services must provide written notification to the Contract Specialist with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. All responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Scope of Work: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, and resources necessary to provide radio frequency and microwave backbone for government-owned two-way radio communication for VA Sierra Nevada Police Department. The Regional 800 MHz Trunked Radio Communication System replaces participating non-public safety and public safety agencies' existing radio communication system throughout Washoe County with a modern, trunked radio system.
