INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6) Central Acquisition Service, Asheville VA Medical Center, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Spectranetics Corporation, 9965 Federal Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80921-3617. The procurement action is to enter into a 12-month Volume-based Rental agreement for a CVX-300 Excimer Laser. The laser rental fee is based on volume of Spectranetics disposable fiber optic catheter delivery systems purchased each calendar quarter. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations.
