SOLE SOURCE NOTICE

Intent to Negotiate Sole Source RFQ 261-0281-04 DUE 11/26/04 The Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Waste Management of Sacramento (WMS) to furnish all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and services to provide collections, removal, and disposal services for solid waste (non-hazardous materials) and recyclable materials in accordance with terms, conditions and specifications specified in the contract, for the Base Year period plus four one-year options. The VA is required to contract with WMS as they have the local Franchise rights for this function. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; NO solicitation package is available. No telephone or e-mail inquiries will be accepted. The NAICS code is 562111, Solid Waste Contractors. The two VA facilities are the Sacramento Medical Center in Mather, California (95655), and the McClellan VA Outpatient Clinic at McClellan Park, California (95652).
