Special Notice DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17, 4500 South Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas, intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Terrell Glass & Mirror, 501 S. Virginia Street, Terrell, Texas 75160. The contractor shall provide labor, material and supervision to install (55) Security Windows with integral Blinds. Windows shall be complete stand-alone units with sealed integral blind and lexan interior panel. Blind function to be controlled by key access only. Contractor shall install frosted type glass to bathrooms exterior panel with lexan interior. Blind function to be operated by "Nanik" type cable system. The Government believes that only on responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements and intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance FAR 6.302-1. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to response to this requirement by September 27, 2007. NAICS code 337920.
