Department of Commerce (USDOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has a requirement to procure construction services for the Building Roof and Air Cooled Refrigerant Condenser (HVAC) system replacement project at the Weather Forecast Office (WFO)/National Hurricane Center (NHC) located in Miami, FL. The Government anticipates that the solicitation will result in a contract award. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of the existing roof system and install a new Poly-Vinyl Chloride (PVC) system, as specified in the manufacturers approved installation guidelines and in accordance with the Government specifications. Additional work includes, the removal and installation of a new air cooled refrigerant condenser system at the facility. The roof in total is approximately 27,000 square feet in size, consisting of 9 separate and distinctive roof systems. The Contractor will replace the existing tar and gravel roof with a new PVC roofing system. Roofing Product must be an approved product that qualifies with Florida Power and Light (FPL) Roof Savings Program.
