This is a standalone contract to replace domestic hot water boilers, repair or replace surface sweeps, install peristaltic pumps, and replace a back wash valve, spool and actuator in Buildings 1303 and 2122 aboard Quantico, VA. The contract was awarded as a Sole Source award. The statutory authority permitting this sole source of services is Authorized or Required by Statute, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) or 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5). Guidance regarding use of this authority is FAR 6.302-5(b)(6) Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C.657f).
